Draft Technical Bulletin: Engaging Aboriginal Communities in Archaeology
The Draft Technical Bulletin: Engaging Aboriginal Communities in Archaeology is a companion to the draft Standards and Guidelines for Consultant Archaeologists (2009) which were released in the first week of June for piloting during the 2009 archaeological fieldwork season (June - September 30). This technical bulletin is now posted on the Ministry of Culture website (www.ontario.ca/archaeologystandards) or you can download them by clicking here.
The OAS is seeking member input on a number of specific review initiatives related to the S&G, including the above document, and the relationship of archaeological practitioners with the province.
